So they pretty much got approved by the FDA. Now what they would be doing is the company called Neuralink, which is Elon Musk and Max Hodak, so we can now see them doing human trials really soon

what do you guys think about this?
will we become smarter with the brain chip and have a better advantage over the normal human?

it could cost a lot of money to buy it if it ever releases in a couple of years or so, but I'm not sure about this i mean, phones took over the world before, and now we can use our brain chips to communicate with people without doing it face to face

i'm thrilled about the prospect of having a brain chip it's something we haven't experienced before, but it could eventually make it easier to find employment it may become a common practice in the future, but i would consider purchasing one if i'm interested

it may be in our brain after all, it's but it's going cool and can do something that a normal human can't do

yes but if it gets hacked the situation can get very bad (such as malware viruses blackmailing via file and bios encryption) and imagine getting adware and ads appear in your eyes and you cant see anything and imagine just getting hacked and controlled by a guy you dont know

transhumanism may seem like a good thing at first, however, like all things, it is subject to the material conditions. you know how some people can only afford chromebooks as compared to like a workstation pc, it will be similar to that. it will not magically cure problems, and it will certainly not make people "smarter" (intelligence isn't a biological thing, it's a concept based on the moralization of society, it cannot be measured in any way and does not have any evidence backing up its claims besides tautology). id consider it a major security risk in the lives of people, and something that realistically, as things are currently, not a beneficial thing to the working class.

@oddMacs1 i hope it doesn't get hacked by people who are using that brain chip that's going to be a huge problem, but people haven't even tried it out just yet, so i guess we have to wait and see about that i hope it doesn't happen a lot of people are talking about the bad side of it, and i'm not sure if i can use them in my head
