i have a stupidly big ammount of resources and only 1/2 of them are used

what does that mean

self-host cloud storage (via NAS)

host a diddy party

i dont have enough storage, like cmon, 2tb isn't enough

i feel like there's sarcasm in your post, cause 2 terabytes is DEFINITELY enough.

if i wanted to make a nas i would make it right. my current server is more of a virtualisation host than anything else.
