i fully understand where everyone is coming from, but if there forums were active, if there was a more active playerbase, what would be different? your posts will be lost almost immediately, the threads would be entirely "low quality", itll be flooded

im replying to threads as usual to anyone, and im talking about a topic within these threads, exactly how forums are intended

This is polytoria, a smaller community which posts frequently, but not enough to get forums overtaken instantly. “Talking about topics in this thread” somehow leads to a 500 response forum-? Bring it to messages.
And no im not telling you to quit it, you need to learn to stop spamming forums on random topics hundreds of times and then refusing to admit you are post farming. And “if you can’t use forums why would it exist” YOU CAN USE FORUMS BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS YOU SPAM IT OFTEN AND REFUSE TO ADMIT ITS POST FARMING!

postfarming to my understanding is posting threads/replies unrelated to the original topic for the purpose of growing your post count

Post farming can also be described as pointless replies that increase a users forum count number rapidly for no reason despite there being another solution other then flooding a topic with tons of forums.
500 replies is crazy, some older members of the community have a few thousand while you have reached about 8K atp within a month or two.
“Because it won’t last too long” Polytoria has survived for YEARS with an active and LOYAL playerbase, and just because you think it wont last doesn’t reserve you the right to postfarm, you post farming does not help increase the playerbase but rather ANGER it rapidly.

i actually think its odd they show post counts and have a rankings page for it

those same older users post a few times a day, im online more often than them so im bound to post more than them

im sorry if im wrong but i dont have high hopes for this being around 10 years from now if it stays the way it is

im not saying me being active on the forums will grow the playerbase, im just saying nothing will change, youll still be annoyed your posts are gone in minutes, youll still see "low quality" posts all the time, itll be the same

i like forums, its a fun way to meet new people and learn about whatever people decide to talk about
