If your ChromeBook supports it, there's a Developer Mode feature called 'Crostini' on ChromeOS that works as a Linux compatibility layer. You could probably be able to install flatpaks and run Linux applications using it; if you search the internet, you can find tutorials on how to enable it if it's not already enabled.
