I no longer see it as "not good" and I think the eco reset was a good thing.

yeah there were too many random limiteds back then. as long as they never reset it again we'll be good.

When I first joined PT, I was only there for a single day. The interface was super confusing to me, especially the shop and all the items. They were so random and it felt like Polytoria had no proper identity.

When I came back to PT a few months before eco reset , the site had improved, the shop looked much better (October 2023) and I felt less overwhelmed. The items were still a bit soulless.

The most active I was in the community was during eco reset. I had a lot of fun and absolutely loved the new interface and economy. Items look much better imo, however collectibles seem unbalanced now, but at least I feel like it's better than the collectibles pre-reset. I had seen limiteds owners going as low as like 5 on an item or stuff like that. And now, it has gotten its own identity with consistent item quality.

Thing is, I don't know much about the activity. How active and big was Polytoria pre-reset?

I get that some people are upset about the eco reset, but I personally think it was the best decision to make.

okay so before 2021 (the poly era) most of the activity came from the discord and the shop since the economy was constantly getting broken. The forums got rlly popular, especially in 2022 as that's when users like mog psychopath and tea were at their peak and then it died down until the eco reset came which reignited activity for a lil.

As u know it died a bit after (sometimes there weren't even 5-10 post a day) now it's active again

I'm gonna miss a lot of the old items ngl, but I've kinda grown used to how it is rn. ONly gripe is that if u weren't there for the beginning cone it's a lot harder to rise up the economy without paying but there's always clothes yk so idk
