A Future Polytoria Vulnerability?
Hey Polytorians,
I thought of a random concept today that got me thinking: What if someone wrote a program capable of generating Polytoria accounts at irregular intervals, leveraging them for purchasing their own shirts and pants using the self-generating brick currency? The idea is to be smart about it, remaining infrequent and discreet enough to blend in with normal Polytoria transactions. They could even take it up a notch by having multiple accounts sending bricks to each other, creating a multi-layered botnet of seemingly unrelated but interconnected Polytoria accounts all stacking bricks onto each other.
I understand that botting and similar activities raise developer concerns, and I'm not advocating for anything harmful or malicious. Instead, the aim here is to explore the technical aspects of the idea and the challenges it presents. We could discuss the feasibility of such a system, the potential implications for the Polytoria community, and whether or not it aligns with the platform's terms of service.
So, what do you all think about this concept? Is it too early for this to be an issue? Is it even possible? Is it an already known method? Feel free to share your thoughts, opinions, and insights.

TL;DR: An idea about creating a botnet to generate Polytoria accounts at irregular intervals and using them to buy their own items using the self-generating brick currency.

This is simply impossible. Not because it can't be done. People who are skilled enough can find ways to abuse API endpoints too. The problem that makes this scenario impossible is the low activity on Polytoria. Any suspicious activity would be instantly noticed by the staff. Not only would they ban all the accounts and your IP, but they would also block your computer's access to Polytoria, preventing you from accessing the website again from your device. (Except, if you are using VirtualBox.)
Even so, I neither suggest nor condone any harmful action, like the scenario you stated. It wouldn't make you any different than an annoying fly to the staff, a fly that keeps buzzing repeatedly.
This is already a thing on most sandbox sites called "alt farming". There is a max number of alts per IP as to prevent this unless you want to pay for a good VPN. Also this has to be written by ChatGPT or another AI language model as this is so much grammar for a Polytoria forum post to be real.
