the strangest vending machine on earth
a weird vending machine surfaced on the side of a seattle street in the early 1990s although it initially merely appeared to be a standard vending machine, the locals quickly realised that something was quite particular about it the machine itself was incredibly ancient, with plenty of graffiti and peeling paint
the machine didn't have any typical buttons for distributing drinks, which was the strangest part about it. In fact, it appears to have been dumped there directly from the 1970s when locals began pressing these "mystery" buttons, they were horrified to discover that some of the beverages the machine was dispensing hadn't been available for quite some time each button simply read "mystery," and when locals started pressing these "mystery" buttons, they were shocked to discover that some of the drinks had not been available for quite some time
locals began pressing these "mystery" buttons and were astonished to discover that some of the drinks the machine was delivering hadn't been available for 10 to 20 years. Each button simply said, "mystery," and when they started pressing these "MYSTERY" buttons, they were shocked to discover that this was the case. These beverages, many of which had been discontinued for many years, including cans of texas red, new coke, japanese coke, russian pepsi, pepsi am, and even coke with bacon flavouring
what was even stranger was that, despite the fact that more and more residents started using this machine, it never appeared to run out of beverages, no one appeared to ever have seen someone reloading it, and no one seemed to know who operated it the machine unexpectedly vanished in 2018, leaving a note in its place, "went for a walk"
