Improv Story Game
I'm just a little bored one moment two nights ago, and I wanted to play a game.
- Make sure that the process of writing is fun. Yeah, it gets straining, but you love it for it. If you don't, but you just wanna write something here anyway because it looks cool? Go ham.
- Minimum 200 words, because I don't want short-hacks. Any post below that, feel free to ignore/skip-over/disregard.
- Go take your time. I know I am.
Oh, dear goodness. This might be a mess, in all sorts of ways. Good luck, everyone.
(also, gonna try using '> ' the block quote, to see how it looks. It has to have a space between that and the text to work, if I remember correctly)
> The banana bunch is just right there; up on the tree it bloomed on, where the branching green leaves puff out from the pale-brown timber. Its height towers proudly over the forest floor, over the crowds of peasant stalk weeds, scattered bitty pebbles, and squads of languid flowers. Over the passing wild squirrels and greedy wolves. Over a monkey.
>
> A particularly stubborn monkey.
>
> This monkey is a lanky thing, for something not so tall. his face looked like it got starved hard to have it shriveled up like a raisin, but on the contrary, he is actually well fed. Until yesterday. When he was separated from his group, as a form of hazing for his ineptitude for climbing.
> And handling.
> And climbing.
> And opening food—okay, maybe he's not very good at being a monkey. Maybe having to constantly rely on everyone else had grated their nerves to snapping. But this monkey is confident in one branch-snapping thing, and that is finding food.
>
> And he already found it last night, before spending the entire evening-come-midnight to scramble in finding a good place to sleep. He's not sure he's ready to confront that yet. And finding the tree took a good few hours of meandering, sniffing, licking, and glancing. And he's found it.
>
> He's hesitantly bouncing in place about what to do next.
What are you doing here?
So, I'm guessing no one here writes stories, then? I dunno what kind of people are here in the first place, but I guess I forgot that this is a Polytoria forum, and not a writing forum.
