yeah true i guess if you cant prove one of the other then you cant really say say its either though i am confused with how the universe could be infinite in my head youd need infinite time to expand infinitely out but if it all started here then what would have been a possible cause for anything im very confused now

i did a little bit of research just now and came to the conclusion that scientists dont know whats at the edge of the universe or even have any evidence to believe there is an edge to the universe
all they can know and have information on is our cosmological horizon of our observable universe but anywhere else in the universe has their own horizon with their own different things to observe deep in space
so we may have been born to early to ever know or maybe we will never know
its all so confusing to think about
i wanna know so badly all these things but we are limited in technology and the universe is constantly expanding so we better hurry up
