If you all do not know, Emir is the discord moderator for Polytoria.

In another occasion involving his poor judgement, I was banned from the discord server for saying the word "monkey".

Emir has called me a racist.

I call myself and others I am close to a monkey. It is a term of endearment. With that said, this is why I was banned from the discord server. Emir can't censor me here so I figured I'd use a forum thread.

Ive called myself and other monkeys several times, regardless of who they are, what they look like, and whether or not they are a male or female. An example of my conduct is "Are you monkeys ready for the egg hunt?"

honestly, i dont know what goes around on the server, but i will give my honest thoughts on this situation:

being banned for calling someone "monkey" (ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT SAYING IT IN A RUDE, OFFENSIVE, OR RACIST MANNER) then it isnt considered appropriate to get a ban. unless you weren't saying it in a way that people might get offended, then you are okay.

im guessing emir hasnt known the literal context in you saying that, and him thinking that you were being extremely racist.

in this case, i support your argument, and emir might have to understand more of the context that is being talked about by you. i dont want to start any more drama, so i hope sometime later your ban gets revoked and hopefully things go back to normal. :)
