if you want to know the value of an item look at the recent sales + ask around and form your own opinion. 3rd party value websites are nearly always biased like how rolimons admins hoarded silverthorn antlers right before valuing it and dont even get me started on brick hill trade yikes

sales are very innacurate considering items usually sell over what people will trade them for + rap is very unreliable in poly due to how little things get sold

may I ask what was wrong with bht? Also there's already a discord for values lol

i think looking at recent sales is more useful than rap because rap can take a long time to change. and i dont think value should be based off one sale alone because flukes will occur.

i think a lot of bht was just nonsense because they would constantly pick random items from the shop to pump and dump for no reason. like for example they would quickly value an item 2k, then 3k, then 5k, then suddenly drop it down to 1k like how does that even make sense bro... maybe i just dont understand how the brick hill economy works but like i swear they were just making stuff up. i understand that values change all the time but the way bht changed values did NOT seem very organic to me.

I originally joined PTV to improve at programming a website. I was actually invested in valuing stuff alongside the team, but I ended up leaving to focus more on college.

I did not create PTV and probably won't make a value website / group, simply because the economy seems somewhat unstable (not sure because I don't spend as much time here as I did a few months ago). And there's always a bit of bias somewhere, just for staff personal gain.

I guess go with the item sales (rarity), item look (eggs are usually bad), see its performance in sales and in trades, and then you should be good to go.

maybe nitro was doing some severe trolling but I see now alr

ig the struggle is with cobra crowns cus they rarely get sales.

infact thinking abt it most items get very low sales so u need to make up ur own values for almost every item. upgrading and downgrading must be so hard lol
