its weird having to wait for the exact time you claimed bricks yesterday to claim the new daily bricks, it would probably be easier for people to time it if it were running on a fixed schedule with a daily reset exactly at midnight UTC so claim time doesn't affect the next claim.

I definitely agree. I think you should be able to claim your bricks at 10:00 a.m. every day or something like that.
