I want a feature where you can set an npc's appearance to be that of a players, so you can make an npc look exactly like a certain player.

No, you cant. You are unable to put clothing on an NPC and the only way to put hats on one is to insert a mesh part and weld it to the NPC

We already have plans to expand functionality of NPCs in the near future, including scriptable movement, AI pathing, and appearance configurations.
