I know, this sounds really stupid, but trust me, this is an actual suggestion.
Not sure about what I am about to say, but appearently there was a reputation system on Forums before; No idea why was it removed.

Because people have different opinions, so the reputation system wasn't really good

Because it was user based, so users could increase, decrease someones reputation, for no reason.

what i remember about that thing was some guy wanting the most disliked but was probably one of the most popular users at that time

I remember when reputation system was a thing. Rip my 2.5k positive rep lol
